Vapes of Wrath - Vapemail and Review

Hello Everyone!  I got some vapemail from Vapes of Wrath and I got a surprise.  I received 2 bottles of juice and a Vapes of Wrath Zombie Kit.  The Zombie Kit is a limited edition and custom made for Vapes of Wrath, there will be 3 different colors.  The next on will be out in the spring, I plan on collecting all 3 and I can't wait to see what they all will look like.  This is the one I was sent, the first one released...

The 2 bottles of juice Vapes of Wrath sent me were by Wicked Premium E-Liquid and Royal Vapour.

Wicked - Cookie Butter - a deliciously unusual juice reminiscent of gingerbread and a sweet butter cookie biscuit - Holy gingerbread!!!  This juice taste like strong bitter and sweet taste of a freshly baked gingerbread cookie.  I don't really get the sweet butter cookie at all.  I can say I am not really a fan, but if you love gingerbread, the flavor is there and this maybe a good juice for you.

Royal Vapour - Queen Cobbler - decadent peach cobbler - I am from the south, I have had peach cobbler in may different ways, I make a spiced peach cobbler that has been spiced with a German wine.  I say this because I don't get any kind of peach cobbler from this juice, I am sad to say this because I really was hoping it would have at least a hint of that flavor in it.  I do get a spices flavor like allspice which can be used in cobblers.

Honestly I think both of these juices taste really close to each other.  I had my other half try them both as well and he agreed with me that they taste really close.  

I am using the Zombie machine with my bridge-less atty to test it and the juice out, it works great.  I will have to put it back in the box now and keep it for display purposes on my juice shelf.  =}

Another ImProof Story - A Guest Speaker Spot

I have been thinking about having a few guest speakers on here and thought what would be a better guest speaker then someone I advocated for and got them to quit smoking.  I have a family friend that I have know since I was a kid, I asked him if he would tell his story and let me post it on my page.  He didn't have a problem doing it, so here is his story...

Well I started smoking when I was 14yrs old. I started because I thought it was kinda cool looking, and maybe even a little sexy. All the “cool” kids were doing it so I thought I had better do it to (don’t want to be the “geek of the week”). I gradually work my addiction up to about a pack and a half a day.

             I never tried to quit, even though the doctor’s all said it would help ease my back pain (spinal stenosis). I would laugh at people who told me that “those things stink”, or “your gonna hafta go outside to smoke…it bugs me”. Everybody was smoking so get over it! Right???

             Then one day I see some vaporizers hanging on people’s necks and stuff, so I start to research it a little. Next thing I know Dawn comes to San Antonio for a funeral and hands me a starter kit. I think it was late January of 2014.

              I haven’t had a cigarette since! I’m now 47 yrs old and I can actually breathe a little again, not to mention how wonderful it is to actually taste stuff again. Also, would you believe that the Dr. actually got it right? My back pain has decreased…not a lot…but it has and (fingers crossed) I hope, will continue to do more so.

             When people say that vaping is not a habit it’s a hobby….you better believe it! I’ve never had so much fun trying new juices, buying new mods, meeting new people, and hanging out at my favorite local vape store (Texas Vape Stores). That starter kit got passed on to a friend in like 2 weeks, I had to have the VTR. Now I have the VTR and the SVD from Innokin. I have gone from a 30 nic level to a 6 nic level in just the 4 months I've been vaping.  I even got Dawn's uncle a K100 for a great price! Now I’m making stands for my friends, and some hand turned drip tips!

             Thank you so much Dawn for helping me stop smoking and setting me on the right path to good health! Love you like family girl!

I saw how quitting smoking changed my life and I am so glad I quit, but to get others to quit and start vaping is a pretty good feeling.  I love to advocate others, to help them quit, start vaping, direct them to the right device to start off with as well as companies, shop and ejuice.  I  love helping others, it is such a reward to see them vaping and be successful with the change.  I have been luck to help a handful of people and plan on helping more.  If there is anyone out there who needs help just ask, ask a vaper, ask me, go to a shop and ask questions, lets all kick the ash and make our path to a healthier us...

Tex-Vape.Com - Juice Review Part 1

Hey Everyone!  As you know Tex from Tex-Vape.com sent me some juice and I am a little behind on my reviews so I need to get back in gear.  I want to first apologize to you and to Tex for being so far behind. I am now back on track...  So, here is my first juice review for Tex-Vape.com

I was sent the whole juice line and each one are made to his personal taste.  He originally made the juice for personal use, but his friends were very supportive of his flavors and talked him into making them available for the public.  I am so glad I was given the opportunity to review his juice, I now have a few flavors in my rotation of flavors.

Midnight Skinny Dip  -  "White Chocolate and Strawberry eJuice!  No clothes required!" - This is a fun vape, I say that because the flavor seems to change. You get a ripe strawberry flavor, then a sweet strawberry, it seems simple but its not, in my opinion. The strawberry is prevalent , it taste like an actually strawberry, the sweet, juicy and tart flavor nothing like an artificial strawberry flavor  and the white chocolate peeks out at times making it sweeter.  I enjoy this vape a lot, I didn't know I would become a fan of strawberry vape, but Tex-Vape has a few different strawberry ones that I have now put in my rotation of favorites.  This juice is an ADV for those of you who like a really strawberry flavor

MILF  - "This Strawberry Cream is the Mother of all Milk eJuices!!  Now you can vape your MILF all night long!" - There are two words that come to mind with this juice, well there are more, but on first taste these words come to mind.  Strawberry Milk!!!  There is no denying the flavor of this one, the creamy, sweet strawberry milk is on the inhale and the exhale, it takes me back to when I was drinking strawberry milk as a kid.  I also have put this juice in my rotation.  Milf is an ADV as well!

Rocket Fuel Vapes - Juice Review Part 2

HI Everyone!  I am posting another Rocket Fuel Vapes review.  I had received 5 - 10 mls and a sample size of their newest addition to their juice line.  I already did a review on the newest juice Strawberry Fields and The Cat's Meow by Rocket Fuel Vapes.

OK lets get to why you are reading this blog, the reviews...  =}

I was trying to decide which one to try first, as I have 4 more flavors to review. So, I decided to go with 2 that have different flavor profiles.  The first one is the

Bee Sweet - "SWEET HONEY! Bee Sweet blends golden honey and brown sugar with undertones of sweetened figs and pears for a fragrant, smooth and distinguished sweet taste with staying power." -  I was not sure how this one was going to taste with the sweet honey, brown sugar, fig and pear flavors.  I will have to be honest though on my thoughts of this one, the sweet honey reminds me of chewing on a raw honeycomb straight from the bees nest.  It was very strong and sweet, with the brown sugar it made it even stronger in the sweetness of it.  The brown sugar also tasted like a raw brown sugar, like chewing on a sugarcane branch.  The pear and fig were both on the exhale and not overly sweet, the pear though gave it a slight bitter taste, like a bitter and slightly sweet pear.  I am not a huge fan of this one but its just my palette, I think it's because I'm not a fan of pears.  If you like pears and sweet honey then I would say you have to try this one!  

Love Potion No. 9 -    "TOP RATINGS: Love Potion No.9 fuses sweet, juicy peach with subtle hints of fig and blueberry for a smooth, luscious taste." - This juice is really good!  The peach is on the inhale and it is what it promises to be, a lovely sweet juicy peach like you find right at the top of the season.  I love the sweet slightly tart blueberry on the exhale, the fig is not as prevalent, its a little more hidden.   I love peaches and blueberries and this is a great vape.  There is a throat hit on this one, but it's not bad at all.  I am a fan of this one!

#IMPROOF Movement - Dawn's story

Hey all!  I have decided I need to finally tell my story of how and why I now vape and stopped smoking.  I have vowed to be a part of the #IMPROOF Movement.  I made this vow in November of 2013 though I had quit smoking in March of 2013. This is my story of why I made the decision to quit and start vaping. 

I have tried to quit smoking many times through out my 23 years of smoking.  I tried the patch, the gum, "cold turkey", I even tried using sunflower seeds to help with the hand to mouth habit, I could not commit to any of it, nothing helped at all.  I have a family history of cancer, all different types.  My grandma-ma had passed away from COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), I was very close to her to the point that I called her mom, She was my best friend and my confidante.  She was a smoker ever since I can remember so was my grandfather (her husband).  I have many smokers in my family, even now, but I am working on getting them to quit smoking and start vaping as well.  Anyway back to why I quit...   I was in the medical field and I saw a lot of stuff but watching my grandma-ma suffer from COPD was one of the worse things I ever saw. The pain she felt, the inability to breath, the weakness she suffered everyday.  I didn't live with her the whole time she was sick so I didn't see everything, I also didn't see how badly she declined towards the end, due to living in another city.  I did visit her, but I still didn't see everything.  I love her and I miss her dearly!  

I went to church and I saw a bunch of people vaping, I knew a little about it but not much.  So, I started asking questions and found out a couple I go to church with own a vapor store. I went into the shop one day got more information and tried a few tobacco flavors then I went home and decided to talk to my youngest son about it (He was 16 and was a smart ass LOL).  I asked him if he would be OK with me vaping instead of smoking. I then stopped and looked at him and asked if he even knew what that meant.  He told me "yes, MOM!?!?  I have friends who do it.  And I have seen people at school as well as other places using those vapor thingys."  I laughed at this response and asked WTH, kids at school doing it.  I told him kids shouldn't be doing it and they really shouldn't be doing it at school either.  He agreed with me and also told me not to worry he won't do it, he has no desire to smoke or vape.  So, the next week I went back to the shop and got my starter kit.  I told my son that was part of his 17th birthday gift, he smiled and said he was happy with that.

I had started with a sweet tobacco flavor with a 36 nic level, 3 months later I went to a 30 nic level then 5 months later to a 24 nic level.  I have just recently went to an 18 nic level and I am still satisfied with vaping.  I have been vaping for one year and I am really glad I started.  As you have seen, in this blog, I have now turned it into a hobby.  =}   I go to the pool hall for league night and there are other vapers as well as smokers too, I smell like a bar when I leave.  I have to get my stinky clothes off as soon as I get home, my hair, clothes and purse smells like smoke.  I now know why my mother always picked on me about smelling so bad, when I smoked.  I will not go back to smoking again!  I am SO happy that I decided to quit and start vaping.  I am also very happy that my other half has been very supportive as well, he smoked when we went out and some times when he drove long distances, but he is now a social vaper.  So there are no longer any smokers in the house.  

Like I said I had already tried to quit multiple times, then with my grandma-ma's situation, me wanting to be here longer for my son and making a promise to my son, I became a vaper.  So, I am part of the #IMPROOF Movement!

I have helped others, I have been called a Vape adviser LOL, I am willing to help anyone who is wanting to quit smoking.  I help others by giving them as much information as they need to point them in the right direction, from what starter kit to choose to what juice flavors and tobacco flavors to start on, as well as what nic levels they may want to try out first.  I love helping others and if being a "vape adviser" helps them quit smoking, then I'm all for it.  =}

Uncle Junks Genius E-Juice Vapemail

I got Vapemail from Uncle Junks Genius E-Juice, I was very surprised when I was sent 8 bottles, that is their whole line. They where all wrapped tightly in bubble wrap and go to me safe.  The bottles are a clear bottle with a clear glass dripper. The labels are nice and clean and the font is too. Elite Vapor - A Shop Review

I went into Elite Vapor in Round Rock Texas, I was half ass greeted.  There was only one person working and I was the only person in the shop.  The shop smelled like a generic vapor shop, kind of new but you could definitely smell the tobacco scents as well.   They had great glass display and they were not cluttered or too stuffed to over whelm a new vaper.  I noticed there was any thing from your basic ego/kanger/vision starter kits all the way to expensive mods. There were 2 stations 1 in the front for fruity and desert juice flavors the 1 in the back was for tobacco and drinks, it looked like it was suppose to be set up like a social lounge.   Each flavor was in a small tank, 1.6 Ml tank. They where on a lazy susan and marked for each flavor.  There were suppose to be silicone tips for you to use to try each flavor, but there were not any silicon tip covers, not a single one.   The premium flavors were in a case you had to ask for them, the only premium juice he let me try was a Suicide Bunny and that was it, just one. As, I was there 2 guys walked in and they were greeted right away and then the guy conversed with them, unlike with me.

This is the set up of one of the "flavor stations"... (tobacco and drinks)  as you can tell there is a cup in the center, that is where the silicon tip covers are suppose to be and there is not a single one in there. I don't know if I'm the only one or not, my I think there should be a way to get them out (when they are in there) other then your hands, I don't want to grab one and stick it to my lips after everyone else has had there grubby hands in there. (just my opinion)

I did try a few of their flavors after wiping down the tips with an antibacterial wipe, but I couldn't tell the difference in them.  The tobacco flavors smelled and tasted the same, the dessert flavors also the same way. The juices have not been perfected, I'm not sure what the owner of this shop wanted out of this product but it seems like it was more about quantity and not quality.  So, my verdict is not good on this place.  I don't want to do any bad reviews, but I promise you guys I would always be honest.

I did get some silica and wire so I can rebuild my coil on my Nimbus clone for juice testing/tasting. I also bought a colorful drip tip (after leaving there I went to another shop and found the same tip 3 bucks cheaper)  The prices for certain things are in comparison to other shops, but there are other things that are more expensive.

I want to say again I don't really want to drop negative reviews, but I can't be anything but honest.  So, yes this is a negative review. You can check them out for yourself and see what you think, but I will not return, there are so many more shops popping up in the area so I will do more reviews good or bad on many more.

Rocket Fuel Vapes - Juice Review

I know I am running a little behind on this review and I apologize, I have been in the middle of a move. Anyway lets get to why you came here.  =}

The original shipment

I have tested/tasted 2 out of the 5 bottles and the sample Rocket Fuel Vapes sent me.  I wanted to test the sample on first because it was the being launched on March 1, 2014.  I really liked it, but I am partial to strawberry vapes.

Strawberry Fields - "features delicious, ripe strawberries and rich country cream with just a touch of buttery crumble for a complex and satisfying strawberry vape.  {AVAILABLE ONLINE 3/1/14} NEW!" - I got on the inhale and exhale a sweet smooth strawberry vape, the buttery crumble came after a long inhale then exhale, but it is not really prevalent.  I really enjoyed this but like I said I am partial to strawberry vapes.  I'm really glad I was sent this, yes it was a sample size but I can see an order in my near future.  =}

The second one I did was The Cat's Meow - "blends the taste of homemade buttercream cookies with hints of fresh white coconut for a smooth, sweet eliquid flavor.  PEOPLES’ CHOICE" - I know why this is a peoples' choice or one of their best sellers.  It reminds me of a cookie you find during the holidays. - On the inhale I get the complex taste of the white coconut and the buttercream cookie at the same time.  It is very much a desert vape, it really does taste as described - a cookie!  I am very happy about this vape and I can see myself running out of it pretty fast.

I am very happy with Rocket Fuel Vapes so far, It seems like they take their time to make quality juice and the flavors are exactly as they describe them to be.  Stay tuned I have 4 more form Rocket Fuel Vapes as well as others to come.
